    Navigating the 3D Scene In the current version of OpendTect, all core navigation actions are always available: Zoom, Pan, Rotate → simply use middle-mouse button manipulations Zoom & Rotate Wheels → hover over the upper-left or lower-left corners of the 3D window to access the interactive wheels No mode switching required — navigation is always active and always fluid.

    🛈Customizing Your Shortcuts Want to tailor OpendTect to your workflow? You can create or modify shortcuts directly in the UI: 👉 How to add or change keyboard shortcuts: Go to Utilities in the main menu Select Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts In the shortcut editor, find the action you want to modify Double-click the existing shortcut (or the empty field) Press the key combination you want to assign (e.g., Ctrl+S, Alt+F) Save your changes Function keys can also be used directly or combined with modifiers like Ctrl or Shift.
