Don't forget to sign up for tomorrows free webinar. Post-stack filters in OpendTect
17 November, 4 pm CET
In next week's webinar Dr. Paul de Groot of dGB Earth Sciences presents free and commercial filter capabilities in OpendTect.
Post-stack filtering is typically done to enhance the interpretability of seismic data. Among others, OpendTect supports filters for:
• Suppressing random noise, • Suppressing coherent noise (migration smiles, multiples), • Preserving edges • Shaping amplitude and frequency spectra.
Paul discusses concepts and he shows applications of:
• Dip-steered (Structurally Oriented) filters, • Trained Machine Learning models, • Deterministic filters, • Statistical filters.
