Paul de Groot will be presenting OpendTect Machine Learning solutions for seismic interpolation problems, such as: filling missing traces, creating super-sampled datasets and replacing bad data zones.
He will discuss the U-Net model and how you can create training sets in OpendTect to solve these problems. Next, he will illustrate that some trained models are universal interpolators meaning they can be applied "AS IS" to quickly solve similar problems on other data sets.
Paul will conclude with a live demo of the workflow for filling missing traces in OpendTect's Machine Learning software. The presentation and demo will take approx. 30 mins. After this we will open the floor floor Q&A.
