    New Wavelet Estimation Module in the LTrace Inversion Suite plugin for OpendTect

    We’re excited to highlight the release of the Multi-Trace Wavelet Estimation module, now available through the LTrace Inversion Suite (LIS) plugin for OpendTect

    This new module introduces an interactive and statistically robust workflow for wavelet estimation, enabling geoscientists to define wavelet phase and energy using information from multiple seismic traces and wells simultaneously.

    ✨Key capabilities 🔹Multi-well analysis Statistical wavelet estimation across traces around multiple wells for more reliable results.

    🔹Automatic smart correlation Per-trace optimal time shifts are computed to maximize correlation with synthetics.

    🔹Interactive trace selection Full control to manually select and refine the traces used in the analysis.

    🔹Improved accuracy • Phase tuning: objectively determine the optimal wavelet phase • Energy tuning: refine energy after phase selection for high-fidelity inversion results
