    Recurring OpendTect training courses in Houston Texas

    2024 is in full swing and we want to remind you about our recurring training courses! We offer a monthly introduction course in the fundamentals of OpendTect, as well as two advanced workflow training courses. The introduction course assumes no prior experience in OpendTect whereas the advanced workflow classes require some knowledge of OpendTect prior to attendance. Courses are reoccurring, with the introduction training taking place every second Tuesday of the month and the advanced training every third Tuesday of the Month. Please see below for main highlights of each course:

    Introduction to OpendTect Basic concepts of OpendTect, visualization and manipulation Setting up a survey from scratch The attribute editor and on-the-fly testing of parameters Mapping horizons and faults, in 2D and 3D Writing attribute volumes, visualization The cross-plot capabilities in OpendTect OpendTect Pro features like Basemap and Thalweg tracker

    Advanced Workflows Training - Machine Learning The machine learning environment in OpendTect Machine learning methods for fault & object detection, clustering Machine learning methods for well data. Prediction of missing logs. DipSteered attribute analysis and Structure oriented filtering, data conditioning methods

    Advanced Workflows Training - Data Conditioning Remove and suppress random noise from raw data Remove footprints from seismic data Mitigate migration artifacts using pre-trained AI models Remove multiples Sharpen faults and edges in data How to enhance seismic anomalies
