Thalweg Tracker Free Webinar - Thursday 22 September 4pm CET
In this webinar Paul de Groot from dGB Earth Sciences will present the Thalweg tracker, a unique auto-tracker in OpendTect Pro for tracking seismic bodies in three dimensions. He will explain how the tracker follows the path of least resistance in seismic data.
Next, he will show examples of tracking seismic geomorphological features such as channels, reefs, and sand waves, and how tracked bodies can be used for labeling Machine Learning targets.
The video shows 50,000 cells of a meandering channel tracked from a single seed position. We saved the tracked points as a 3D body.
