What is the OpendTect Machine Learning Developers’ Community Discord server?
The OpendTect Machine Learning Developers’ Community Discord server is an inclusive group with an aim to build an open, organized, online ecosystem for machine learning within the context of the Machine Learning extensions to OpendTect.
The OpendTect ML Dev Community is also a place where you can share ideas, interesting datasets, and potential solutions with like-minded people who love to analyse data, and build the best solutions together, saving you valuable time, and expanding your horizons at the same time.
When you join the OpendTect ML Dev Community you will be invited to our active Discord Community Server (think Slack, but for large community interactions.) From there, and using the webinars, GitHub repos, FAQs and interactive sessions, you can get your questions answered, learn by answering other peoples’ questions and discover new areas from reading through the exchanges.
How can I become a member of the OpendTect Machine Learning Developers’ community?

If you do not yet have a Discord account, fill in an email address, username, password and date of birth. You will receive an email with the subject “Verify Email Address for Discord”. This email contains a link to verify your email address.
When your Discord account has been verified and you have logged in, clicking the invite link to join the OpendTect ML Dev Community will show you that you have been invited. Click the Join OpendTect ML Dev Community button to join the OpendTect ML Dev Community.
Is it possible to use an app on my computer or phone to take part in the OpendTect ML Dev community?
Yes, you can download the Discord app for Windows 10 and higher, Linux (deb and tar.gz) and macOS from https://discord.com/download. Android users can download from the Google Play Store and iOS users from the App store.
